Harbour Capital Volleyball 2013

There are two words to describe the Harbour Capital Varsity Volleyball 2013 Season, determination and solidarity. The season started enthusiastically in mid July. Right from the beginning of the season, the team came ready and eager to play. The season started off diligently with a few quick wins by dominating the competition.  Of the 10 athletes, six of the team members were returning players. It took dedication and devotion by all of the players in order to come together and think as one. By the end of the second week of the season, it was as if we had been playing together as a team for all of our volleyball careers. As the season progressed, we became stronger mentally, physically, and developed a strong bond both on and off the court.

The competition was fierce but team Harbour never gave up.  We battled some of the most talented volleyball players on the seacoast this year.  With over 40 teams participating this year we knew it was going to be an uphill battle right from the start.  Team Harbour finished the season with an impressive 8-2  record falling just shy of the playoffs. Scott Ramsey, one of the MVP’s was interviewed after the season and had this to say “We will be back.  Our team motto is never say die.  We were just one click away from greatness this year”  I’m already hungry for next season.  We put up a good fight and most importantly had fun!”
